The Arthritis Foundation is the only nationwide, nonprofit health organization helping people take
greater control of arthritis by leading efforts to prevent, control and cure arthritis and related
diseases.  


The Arthritis Foundation created the Ease-of-Use Commendation program to encourage
manufacturers to design user-friendly products and packaging. All products must be submitted for
testing by an independent lab experienced in the design and evaluation of products that are
accessible to people with functional limitations due to the effects of arthritis. Only products that
receive favorable reviews throughout the testing process are awarded the use of the Ease-of-Use
commendation logo.

Several Tempur-Pedic Mattresses received a favorable review by the Arthritis Foundation and carry
the Arthritis Foundation’s Ease-of-Use Commendation Logo including "The ClassicBed by Tempur-
Pedic,™" "The DeluxeBed by Tempur-Pedic,™" “The CelebrityBed by Tempur-Pedic,™” and “The
EuroBed by Tempur-Pedic.™” The Tempur-Pedic Adjustable base also received a favorable review.

Tempur-Pedic Swedish Mattresses are the first mattresses to be awarded the Arthritis Foundation’s
